Dapping
Pfc. Victor Lucky, a black marine at Camp Schwab, Okinawa, was recently busted for "dapping" (passing power) in the mess ball. After 54 days of pre-trial confinement a court martial found him guilty of disobedience of a direct order and was sentenced to two months hard labor, $200.00 fine, and a bust to E-1. A first Lt. on the jury said: "They are marines---not black men. There should be a regulation to keep then from doing anything other than saluting officers and shaking hands like normal human beings."
