Casting is to reality TV what location is to real estate -- it's everything. Others have tried to document high school life (remember American High?), but this 13-part series succeeds where those drier efforts failed. One of Senior Year's many cliché-free stories follows perma-PDA couple Jean and Maria, who are revealed to be just as insecure and angst-ridden as their peers. High school is a time for experimentation, and finally, a truly experimental filmmaker (David Zeiger) is there. A
